St Paul’s Community Playschool is an Ofsted registered provider, offering affordable child care in a personal, caring, stimulating environment for children between 2 - 5 years. The playschool is well known, much loved and firmly established in Northfields, Ealing.

We are located off the Northfields Avenue behind St Paul’s Church Hall in Ridley Avenue (see Visit Us/Contact Us link)

In 2017 we celebrated 25 years partnering parents, children and families in their journey of life and learning in Northfields & Ealing.

Our Ethos

Each child is a gift and brings something special to the Playschool, with their own style, personality and contribution. We believe each child is unique, learns at their own pace and that staff, parents and carers play a pivotal role in a child’s learning and development. We have a holistic approach in supporting children in their learning and life, with good links with parents, carers and families and good links with the local community and St Paul's church.

“Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.”   Mark 10:14

What makes us unique?

  • All staff live locally and are parents themselves. We have journeyed with our own families through local primary and secondary schools. In addition to holding relevant qualifications and continuing professional development, we believe being parents ourselves helps us understand, empathise and relate to children and their parents/carers/families.

  • We are a homely, warm and friendly environment where adults and children are with one another in one hall indoors and a garden area outside. Our small, individual setting gives us a personal approach and we are able to be more flexible to the needs of each child.

  • We are a Christian playschool and have strong links with St Paul’s Church. Staff from the church visit the children weekly to sing and read bible stories at circle time. We also have good links with local schools and the community.
